Good morning Marlins!!

Whew! We are already half way through our swim season and that means it's time for the Laurel Invitationals on SUNDAY 7/14!! This meet is invite only and we are inviting ALL Marlins to declare their attendance for the meet. We are a small team this season and it is possible that most (if not all) of our swimmer will be able to participate in this special meet where ALL of the Laurel teams come together to face off regardless of which division we are all in. Below is a time line of how this special meet is being handled. 

- Marlins declarations are due NO LATER THAN 6pm on TUESDAY, 7/2 (any swimmer whose attendance is not update by that time WILL NOT be entered into the meet and it will be assumed your swimmer is not eligible to go, this can not be changed and swimmers CAN NOT be added into the meet after this time)

- Sunday, 7/7 there will be a meeting of all of the coaches and team representatives to go over the finalization of the seeding of the meet (this is where updating attendance comes into play, if your swimmer is not listed as "attending" they will not be considered during the entering of swimmers into this meet.

- Sunday night/Monday - all families will be notified of the list of swimmers who have secured a spot at the Laurel Invitationals. 

- Laurel Invitationals will take place in the afternoon of Sunday, 7/14

It is very important we know who is ABLE to attend this meet so a if swimmer is eligible to swim we can claim that spot. No swimmers are able to be added to this meet as once the spot is passed over by our team, it will be offered to the next eligible swimmer from either Marlins or another Laurel team. There is no going back once a swimmer is passed over.

If you are not able to attend, please update your swimmers attendance so that we will know you didn't just forget to update it and it will also stop reminder emails for this meet.

Thank you all for your help in making sure all swimmers have updated attendance. Last meet we only had 2 families not update the attendance! My goal is to have 100% attendance declarations by Tuesday @ 6PM.
