New Carrollton Welcomes the Montpelier Marlins - 7/12

Hello everyone! The New Carrollton Dolphins look forward to hosting Montpelier this Saturday!Our pool is located in the heart of New Carrollton. Below are directions:
From Capital Beltway, take exit 20, Rt. 450 W. (Annapolis Rd.). Turn R at first
stoplight - 85th Ave. (entrance to New Carrollton), and go 0.2 mile. Turn L at Westbrook Dr.
and go 0.8 mile. Turn at Lamont Dr. Turn L into pool parking lot. Or From Good Luck Rd.
going east, turn R at Lamont Dr. (entrance to New Carrollton) and go 0.7 mile to Westbrook
Dr. cross Westbrook Dr. and turn into pool parking lot.
NCR warmups - 7:30-7:50 amPer league rules, our start time is 8:30am. Below is the breakdown of the schedule:
Montpelier warmups - 7:50-8:10 am
Scratch, Officials and Timers meetings 8:10-8:20 am
National Anthem 8:25 am
Meet start - 8:30 am
There will be a designated fenced off area for your team to set up tents and chairs. We ask that only swimmers come onto the pool deck, as this area tends to get crowded. ALL of the non-lap pool area and the wading pool will be closed. We ask that no one enter the non-lap pool area or the wading pool during or after the meet.Meet officials sign in on the Officials Sheet and Timer Sheet in the Meet Manager area under the tent located on the far left corner of the pool as you enter our fenced in grounds. Our data managers will be located in that area also. Ribbons and head judge will be on the pool deck area next to the Meet Manager and Team Rep. There will be concessions at the meet featuring breakfast sandwiches, donuts, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, cup-o-noodles, assorted chips, rice krispy treats, muffins, candy, and a variety of drinks including gatorade and water. Our vendors accept cash, credit cards, and PayPal. 😋Please make sure all swimmers have plenty of water to stay hydrated and healthy snacks.
Do not leave swimmer sitting in their caps! They have plenty of time to cap before their race!
Please bring chairs and canopies for team shade!
