Divisional's air quality update
Good Evening Marlin Families, As you know, the air quality problems today have created challenges to families planning for divisionals tomorrow. Final decisions around divisionals are still being decided vis-a-vis the host team and division chair. When we have a final update on that we will let you know. Air quality has significantly improved but is still listed in the red zone, meaning unsafe for all people. The alert at 4:40pm stated that air quality would be in the orange zone tomorrow, meaning unsafe for "sensitive groups." Our stance is always to protect families. We want to make sure you have enough information to make the best decision for you and your swimmer. As such we encourage you to decide if swimming or volunteering would be the best choice for you or your family. Marlins plans to continue to divisionals on Saturday, for those families that feel safe to swim, unless the event is cancelled and rescheduled for Sunday. Please let us know if any of your swimmers or volunteers will be unable to attend via the groupme chat (or [email protected]). We will continue to keep you updated, including providing another full team update by 7am tomorrow with any new information we receive. Thank you all and we hope you continue to stay safe! #GoMarlins
