Hey everyone!! It's almost time to celebrate our Marlins and all of their accomplishments this swim season!! I hope to see everyone there and enjoy some good food, great company, and have some fun!! For all the Banquet information please see below! Banquet start time: 6PM The Montpelier Committee will provide rotisserie chicken, veggie burgers, and drinks. We are asking families to please provide sides, salads/pasta salads, and desserts based on the letter of their last name. A - F = Desserts G - L = Veggie sides / Fruit M - Z = Salad / Pasta Salad Please reach out if your guest include more than what you are able to RSVP for. Don't forget to bring chairs for yourself and guests as we don't have too many and want everyone to have a seat. There are still volunteer spots left to help with set up, serving families, and clean up. Please consider helping out one last time for the season. Food will be served from 6 - 7PM, followed by the awards ceremony beginning at 7:15 PM. Directly after the awards ceremony the pool will be open until 10 PM for swimmers and families to hang out. 🍨💙 The Swim-a-Thon Is Coming! This Year’s Theme: “Will Swim for Sundaes!”🦈 Hey, Marlins Families! It's almost time for one of our favorite traditions of the season ... SWIM-A-THON! 🏊🏻♀️🏊🏼♂️🏊🏾 This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year and it’s super important. Why?! Because it helps keep registration costs affordable for our whole team! 🥳 Since we're a small but mighty team this season, every single lap (and every single swimmer!) makes a HUGE difference. Let's make this our best Swim-a-Thon yet!
Practices will be combined for all age groups so any swimmer can show up at any of the times below: *Note: Ice cream sundaes will be served to all swimmers at the end of both the morning and evening practices at 10:30a and 7:30p respectively. 🌊 HOW IT WORKS 1. 💰 Collect Pledges Ask grandparents, neighbors, friends, coworkers, and family members to sponsor your swimmer! Track donations on the pledge form (attached). Sponsors can pledge: • A flat donation, OR • An amount per lap swam 2. 🏊 Swim, Swim, Swim! Come to practice ready to rack and track those laps! Every swimmer will need a volunteer to count laps. If you don't have someone available, please reach out to Christina Kposowa or Mandi Armand ASAP so we can help arrange a counter. 3. 📋 Turn Everything In
Submit all pledge forms and donations by Friday, July 17 to be eligible for prizes and be included in the team competitions! 🏆 PRIZES! 🍨 Everyone Who Swims Wins!
Every swimmer who participates will earn a delicious ice cream sundae after morning and evening practices! 💪 Age Group Challenge The 12 & Unders will battle the 13 & Ups to see who can raise the most money. The winning team will have their photo displayed in the Marlins Hall of Fame at the pool and will get to go through the food line first at the Awards Banquet! ⚡ Boys vs. Girls Showdown The boys and girls will compete to see who can swim the most total laps! The winning team will get to dump buckets of water on either our coaches or our junior coaches! 💦 🌟 Grand Prizes Four individual champions will be crowned! 🏅 Most Money Raised (12 & Under) 🏅 Most Laps Swam (12 & Under) 🏅 Most Money Raised (13 & Up) 🏅 Most Laps Swam (13 & Up) Winners will choose from a shopping spree at Five Below or a $25 gift card to a retailer of their choice! These are the correct Venmo and Zelle.

This week we will be welcoming the Fort Washington!! - Arrive @ 7am so your swimmer has time to get set up, check in with the coaches, and be ready for warmup - make sure your swimmer / family have water - sunscreen - goggles - swim cap - light snacks - Canopy for shade Be prepared for the 50/50 raffle that will be coming around, don't forget your cash to not be left out!! Concessions will be available for purchase and is a great way to help the Marlins raise money for the team! |

Join us for a fun mini-meet designed especially for our 10 and under swimmers! It's a fantastic opportunity for our younger athletes to showcase their skills, cheer on their teammates, and experience the excitement of a swim meet in a supportive environment. Programs: Programs will be emailed and available on Meet Mobile. **this will be day of the meet** Food: The snack bar will be open during the meet. Venmo or Cash Only. Results: These will be emailed out once they have been received. **this should be done by end of the weekend** Awards: Medals will be awarded for places 1st - 6th and Ribbons 7th through 12th place. Team Trophy for First and Second Place Eligibility: This meet is open to all swimmers 10 and younger on 1 June 2026. Event Limit: Each swimmer may participate in up to 3 (three) events. This is a quick turn around and we need to know if your swimmer will or will not be swimming in this meet NO LATER THAN FRIDAY EVENING. This is a great event and super fun for the littles!! Jenn |
