Come out and support our Marlins swim team on Saturday, 8/17/24 from 5pm - 9pm. You may order online or in person and still have your order count towards the fundraiser. All you need to do is let them know BEFORE you pay that you are with the Montpelier Marlins swim team, show them the flyer printed / on your phone, or use the code provided. https://www.signupgenius.com/ Seating at Temple Hills Swim Club - Team Tents and Canopies will ONLY permitted in the Grass Area. The small grass area near the the main entrance of the facility at the turn end of the pool is reserved for Standing Spectators ONLY --- NO Tents/Canopies or Chairs are permitted this area!!! Teams need to stay behind the short fence around the deck. The Deck is reserved for Volunteers, Officials, Meet Staff, and Swimmers during their events. Please remember there is NO Clerk of Course for this meet. Swimmers need to report to the Start end a couple of heats before their event. Coaches may assist the 10 & Under Swimmers so that they get to the Starting area on Time. Alternates will be added for a heat once the Long Whistle is blown - If your swimmer has not stepped up they will not swim and will be replaced by the alternate.
We will be using a Colorado Timing System with Buttons and Watches and we will have a portable Score Board
Parking at Temple Hills Swim Club - The Parking lot and overflow parking (grass Field behind gravel lot) holds about 200 cars. Temple Hills will have parking Attendants to direct traffic. Parking on Henson Drive is restricted to one side of the road - Please follow direction of the Parking Attendants.
Temple Hills will have Concessions Set up under the white Canopy as soon as you enter the Facility. The Temple Hills Swim Team has also coordinated a Food Truck to be on Site.
All-Star Apparel will be sold in the Wading Pool - A follow on Email with pictures and prices of the All-Star Apparel will be sent out later this week.

What It Is Join us as we celebrate the conclusion of yet another successful swim season! This is our super fun End-of-the-Year Celebration where swimmer will receive an award, PLUS special awards for:
You won't want to miss this special night! What to Bring (Food) This year's menu is "PIZZA PARTY!" The banquet is free to all families who bring a dish based on your last name below. Otherwise, the cost is $15 per family. Please send payment to the Marlins' Venmo no later than Thursday, July 18.
Volunteer Help Needed! This is our last team-wide event of the season and we can't make it happen without you. Please volunteer today to help set-up the pool, serve food and break-down the pool following the banquet. Families who have not met their volunteer hours will be assigned positions. Thank you for helping us honor all of our swimmers' achievements! |

Now that the regular season is over it's time for our Divison E Divisonal meet! All Divison E teams will come together to compete against each other to earn points and hopefully become the Divison E Champs! This is an invite only meet and swimmers will be notified once the selection has been made. The location for this year's Divisonals will be New Carrollton Rec. 6250 Westbrook Dr, New Carrollton, MD 20784, USA There will be concessions for sale and Divisonals shirts will be available by pre-order only. Orders need to be turned in by WEDNESDAY, JULY 10TH. No orders will be taken after that. Information will be updated as it becomes available. See you at Divisonals! |

This is an Invitation only meet and swimmers will be selected based on times up though meet #4 and then as space permits. Entry to the pool will begin @ 4:30pm with events starting at 5:30pm. Swim-a-Thon

This Thursday, July 11, the Marlins will host our annual SWIM-A-THON fundraiser at both our morning and evening practices! This is a wildly fun event where our swimmers test the lengths of their endurance to raise money for our team! It's also our biggest fundraiser of the year so we're asking every single swimmer to participate. Every single participant will receive a prize!! PLUS the top swimmer and top earner in each age category will receive special prizes!

Attention all Marlins! Come out THIS Friday night from 5:30 - 7pm (estimated) and tie-dye your Marlins shirt! Each swimmer will be given a white Marlins tee shirt to dye with a baggie to carry it home. Want to make a super cool design? Have your swimmer look up some cool ways to design their shirts! This event is meant for swimmers to come together and bond as a team. Team participation is GREATLY encouraged. We will meet just outside the pool in the grassy area @ 5:30pm so come dye your shirt with your Marlins friends! Parents, please feel free to hang out after to help set our pool up for the last home meet of the season where our Marlins will be welcoming NCR Saturday morning! This home meets theme is "luau" , so dust off those coconut 🥥 bras and grass skirts and come ready with your team spirit! If you have any questions please feel free to reach out! |
